The School of Government is home to the Center for Public Technology, which addresses the needs of local governments to improve skills, expand capacity of local services, and strengthen their communities through the appropriate use of information technology. The Center provides education, resources, and consulting to local government officials, and offers state and national certification programs for chief information officers (CIOs).
