School of Government faculty in the area of land use law and planning provide educational and other resources concerning the law and practice of community planning and land development regulation to local and state government officials. Areas of expertise include land-use law, environmental and administrative law, building and housing code matters, and other local government law matters such as real property, transportation and streets, annexation, and public enterprises. Published materials in this area will be of interest to public and private practitioners in land use and engineering, as well as citizens, elected and appointed board members, neighborhood organizations, and others with an interest in planning and zoning issues.
